Hotle, Jackson-Stone named Outstanding Seniors; Hoeflich, Kliesner to address Class of 2009
Raven Jackson-Stone
Justin Hotle
The graduation ceremony will be held indoors at Antioch Community High School due to weather forecasts, which are predicting rain tonight. ACHS is located at the intersection of Route 173 and Route 83, or 1133 Main St. in Antioch. The ceremony begins at 6:30 p.m.
There are several parking options for this event. The lot on Route 83 is reserved for special needs parking and School Board members. Shuttle services will be available for graduate goers who park in the football field lot or the McMillen Field lot.
Graduates should report to the auxiliary gymnasium by 5:45 p.m., dressed appropriately. Ticket holders will be seated in the gymnasium beginning at 5:45 p.m., and additional guests will be directed to the auditorium, where they can view the ceremony from a live feed.
Justin Hotle and Raven Jackson-Stone, Outstanding Senior Boy and Girl for the Class of 2009, will emcee the evening. Hotle and Jackson-Stone earned the honor after being voted upon by faculty and fellow graduates. Seniors must have at least a 3.5 grade point average to be considered for the Antioch Women's Club-sponsored award.
Adam Hoeflich and Caryle Kliesner earned the two student speaker spots for the ceremony after auditioning for the role more than a month ago. Members of the Class of 2009 also voted for the two faculty speakers: Ben Kalb, social studies teacher, and Kellie Doyle, English teacher.
