Marching band makes debut at Lindenfest
The Lakes Community High School Marching Band, under the direction of Matthew Kastor, had its debut performance on August 13, 2005. The venue was the annual LindenFest Parade held in Lindenhurst, IL. The band was well received and was awarded the Mayor’s Choice award for its efforts. At the Village meeting, Mayor Betustak presented the award and said he spoke for community, when he indicted how impressed he was with the way the band represented LCHS.
